Azerbaijan produces 38.8 million tonnes of oil last year

Baku. 17 January. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijan produced 38,802,000 tonnes of oil in 2018, up 0.29% or 113,100 tonnes from the previous year, 849,900 tonnes from the forecast, Report informs referring to the Ministry of Energy.

Of this, 28,722,000 tonnes were produced in Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG), 2,540,000 tonnes from Shahdeniz (condensate) and the State Oil Company accounted for 7,540,000 tonnes .

Production from ACG fell 184,400 tonnes or 0.64% compared to a year earlier.

Oil production on SOCAR rose 112,900 tonnes or 1.5% by contrast to 2017, and Shahdeniz production by 184,600 tonnes or 7.84%.
