287 million tonnes of profitable oil sold from ACG

Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) block of fields has produced 492 million tonnes of oil since it was launched in 1997, SOCAR First Vice President Khoshbakht Yusifzade said at a round table dedicated to the Contract of the Century, Report informs.

According to him, profitable oil constituted 287 million tonnes.

Yusifzade said that ACG produced 18 million tonnes in January-August including 13 million tonnes of Azerbaijan’s profit oil. It makes 75% of oil produced in the block of fields.
