Much of the world has missed the last chance to catch an eclipse for a while this year.

Report informs that the process started at 06:30 Baku time on December 26.

The natural phenomenon could be observed in Asia, Australia, Saudi Arabia, India, Sumatra, Borneo.

In Baku, the solar eclipse could be seen from 08:03 to 08:52 - close to the horizon before sunrise.

There will be six eclipses (two solar and four lunar eclipses) in 2020, with the first one on June 21 and the second on December 14.

Meanwhile, the first lunar eclipse will take place on the night of January 11, the second on June 5, the third on July 5, and the last on November 30.
