For first time in Azerbaijan internal distribution of teachers will be made by Education Ministry

Baku. 17 May. REPORT.AZ/ One of the changes in the procedure for recruiting teachers in Azerbaijan this year will be tan internal distribution of teachers by the Ministry of Education. Previously, this competence belonged to the local departments of education.

Report informs, acting head of the human resources department of the Ministry of Education, Eshgi Bagirov told reporters.

He said that this year the software will be updated: "Facts of hiding the vacancies in some places makes it necessary. In 2015-2016, inspections carried out in the country's regions revealed serious violations in distribution of teachers. These facts were disclosed after checking the documents of teachers during the diagnostic evaluation. Therefore, this year for the first time the internal distribution of teachers will be carried out by the Ministry of Education”.

During inspections, representative of the ministry disclosed the appointment of teachers to schools with a large number of teachers, the transfer of teachers from rural schools to urban schools in the absence of vacancies: “We have identified the workplaces of teachers taken for hidden vacancies. All these vacant places will be submitted for the competition. This year, more vacancies will be announced compared to the previous years. The system for vacant places, developed by the ministry, is constantly working and improving. This year it is planned to further improve this system.

It will be integrated into the payroll system. But the system is not yet fully shaped. After its completion, such incidents will not take place”.
