Azerbaijan annuls decision on voluntariness in offline education  

The requirement on the voluntariness in face-to-face participation of students in schools has been abolished, reads the decree signed by Prime Minister Ali Asadov on the abolition of Decree No. 12 of January 22, 2021 "On additional measures to organize the activities of educational institutions operating in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan during the special quarantine regime," Report informs.

Another annulled decision is the organization of face-to-face education in educational institutions through considering the type of institutions, the number of students, the number of students in extended groups, classrooms (groups), laboratories, production workshops, libraries, dormitories, canteens, capacity, the age distribution of educators and other issues.

At the same time, the decision on working in shifts at the educational institutions on the basis of the capacity of the institution and the number of existing students has also been canceled.
