Baku. 18 February. REPORT.AZ/ The weather forecast for tomorrow in Azerbaijan has been announced.
Report informs citing the National Hydrometeorological Department at the that the rain is expected to turn into snow on February 19 in Baku and Absheron peninsula. North-west wind is expected to strengthen. Air temperature will be 2 to 3 C at night and in the daytime and may reach 0 towards the night.
Atmospheric pressure will rise from 759 to 770 mm mercury column, while relative humidity will make 80-90%.
In the regions of Azerbaijan, occasional rain is expected on February 19, sleet and snow are predicted in mountainous and foothill regions. It is likely to be intensive in some northern and eastern regions. Fog will be observed in some places. West wind will intensify in some places at times.
The air temperature will range from 0 to 4 C at night, 5 to 8 C in the daytime, while mountainous areas will see the temperatures at 0 to -5 degrees of frost at night, 2 to 5 C in the daytime.
As for the medical-meteorological forecast, on February 19, Absheron peninsula will see a sharp change of weather conditions, strong wind will blow, and rainy weather is expected to be unfavorable for meteo-sensitive people. The Ministry warns that the weather will change in Baku and Absheron peninsula from February 18 to 19 and February 20, the rain is expected to turn into snow. North wind speed will be 15-20 m/s, and 23-25 m/s at times. The temperature will drop by 6-8 degrees on February 19 and the temperature will be close to 2 degrees during the day.
In the regions of Azerbaijan from February 18 to October 20, mainly in northern and eastern regions, the weather will be rainy, sleet is expected in some places, snow in mountainous and foothill regions, it will be intensive in separate regions.
