Snow height reaches 12 cm in Altiaghaj - ACTUAL WEATHER

The actual weather observed in Azerbaijan has been announced.

Report informs citing the National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources that from November 21 till November 22 morning the weather was unstable, rain and snow were observed in mountainous areas and foothill areas intensified in some places.

The amount of rainfall was 47 mm in Astara, 41 mm in Lankaran 41 mm, 20 mm in Khachmaz, 16 in Balakan, Gabala, Zagatala, 12 in Lerik, Saribash , 11 mm in Oghuz, 9 mm in Yardimli, Tartar, Gusar, Ismayilli, 8 mm in Shabran, 7 mm in Guba, Neftchala, 6 mm in Altiaghaj, Giriz, 5 in Barda, Beylagan, Aghdam, Maraza, 4 mm in Naftalan, 3 mm in Khaltan, Khinalig, 2 mm in Agstafa, Mingachevir, 2 in Aghsu, 1 mm in Ganja, Dashkasan, Shamkir, Shahdag, Gazimammad, Bilasuvar, Sabirabad, Imishli, Goychay, Zardab and Yevlakh, 47 mm in Sumgayit (169% of the monthly norm), 11 mm in Baku (38% of the monthly norm), 6 mm in Mashtagha and 4 mm in Bina.

The height of snow cover was 12 cm in Saribash, Altiaghaj, 8 mm in Qiriz, Khinalig, 7 cm in Gusar, 2cm in Maraza, Ismayilli, Guba, 1mm in Khaltan, Dashkasan, 0.8 cm in Lerik, Yardimli.

The minimum air temperature was -9-15 degrees in the mountainous areas.

At present, the temperature in Baku is 2 degrees below the climate norm.

Unstable, rainy weather observed thought the country will continue till November 23.
