"We have come to elections to observe Azerbaijan's commitment to the OSCE norms, standards, and principles," Report quotes special coordinator of the OSCE short-term observation mission Artur Gerasymov as saying

"We are in Azerbaijan with a short-term mission. The OSCE mission includes 358 observers from 41 countries, as well as representatives of the OSCE PA, PACE, and the OSCE / ODIHR. Observation is a common practice that we carry out in the OSCE countries in the west and east," he said.

According to Gerasymov, before the election day, observers were informed in detail by the CEC, representatives of civil society, political parties, candidates, experts, and others regarding preparations for the elections.

"Thus, we got a clear picture of the preparation of our report to be presented at a press conference tomorrow. At the moment, hundreds of our observers are monitoring the elections in Baku, Sumgait, Ganja, and the regions. The entire information will be streamlined, analyzed and presented to the public tomorrow. "

"We visited several polling stations, and we had every opportunity to conduct an observation," Gerasimov said.
