Meeting of International Relations Commission of Press Council held in new composition

The first meeting of the International Relations Commission of the Azerbaijan Press Council has been held in the new composition, Report informs.

The Chairman of the Commission, the head of the Journalists Trade Union (JuHI), Mushfiq Alasgarli informed the participants about the issues on the agenda. First, the Regulation of the Commission was discussed. The document was adopted with additions and amendments. Later, opinions were exchanged on the draft Action Plan of the Commission for the coming year, and certain action proposals were included and evaluated as acceptable.

The members of the commission decided that the institution should establish cooperative relations with all international organizations working in the field of freedom of speech and expression, and for this purpose, relevant appeals should be addressed on behalf of the Council of Ministers.
