Azerbaijani mine agency chief, British envoy discuss demining operations

On October 19, 2021, Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijani Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) Vugar Suleymanov met with British Ambassador to Azerbaijan James Sharp, Report informs.

The British ambassador was filled in on humanitarian demining operations carried out by the agency in the liberated territories, as well as planned activities in keeping with the set priorities.

The sides swapped views on the support of the British Embassy in Azerbaijan for the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Program, future cooperation in reducing the number of landmine victims, and humanitarian demining.
