Azerbaijan to purchase 432,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine from Switzerland - ORDER

Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov has signed an order to prevent any possible danger from the COVID-19 infection and take immunization measures in this field, Report informs.

The order says:

"Under the Agreement on the supply of medicines, signed between the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance and GAVI ALLIANCE on September 18, 2020, 432,000 doses of Swiss AstraZeneca vaccine should be imported to Azerbaijan within 180 days."

Ministry of Health and State Agency on Compulsory Health Insurance are to solve the issues arising from this order.

The order enters into force upon signing.
