The Azerbaijani Diaspora in Ukraine has sent medical equipment to service members disabled during the war and received treatment at the Prince Lev Municipal Clinical Hospital No. 1 in Lviv.

Secretary-General of the Ukrainian Azerbaijanis Rada (UAR) Jeyhun Mammadov told the Eastern European Bureau of Report that the humanitarian action organized by the chairman of the Congress of Azerbaijanis of Kyiv (KAK), co-chair of UAR Oleg Krapivin, includes wheelchairs and several medical supplies.

The Ukrainian Azerbaijanis regularly provide such assistance to the army and military hospitals of the conflict-affected country.

Notably, the Azerbaijani chief physician of the city hospital, Javahir Mammadova, Azerbaijanis Teymur Mammadov, and others attended the presentation.
