Azerbaijan resumes imports of Austrian lime

In the first half of this year, 72.2 tons (+18.4%) of lime (slaked and hydraulic) worth $20 thousand ( 33.3%) were brought to Azerbaijan from abroad, Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee.
53.35 tons (+5.9%) worth $15,800 (-35.3%) were bought from Turkiye, 18 tons worth $2,100 from Iran (there was no supply a year ago), 0.6 tons (-1.7%) worth $1,800 (-14.6%) and 0.3 tons worth $300 from Austria.
After a gap of three years and nine months, the supply from Austria was resumed.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan sold 10,036 tons (+24.5 times) of lime (quick, slaked, and hydraulic) worth $676,700 (+22.5 times) abroad (like a year ago, only to Georgia).
