The joint Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan investment company has reviewed over 100 investment projects, of which more than 15 have been selected for initial analysis, the company’s CEO, Nazim Hajiyev, said during the panel discussion "Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan: The Vector of Economic Partnership," held as part of the Tashkent International Investment Forum.
"Four of these projects belong to various industrial sectors, one is in the field of financial technology. I would also like to mention one of the projects — the construction of the largest international school in New Tashkent. We are developing several projects between Azerbaijani and Uzbek companies and plan to begin their implementation by the end of this year," he said.
According to Hajiyev, the company is actively engaged in identifying and attracting business partners from other countries.
"We are members of several chambers of commerce and business associations and are working to attract companies from Germany, Italy, Japan, and countries in the Middle East,” he emphasized.
"By the end of this year, we plan to complete the analysis of the projects. We have already reviewed 12 of them, as previously mentioned, and our main goal is to invest in companies with the greatest potential for the economic growth of our countries," he added.
