Maximum price for medicine importers were allowed to increase by 20% in Azerbaijan

Baku. 11 June. REPORT.AZ/ Retail price of the manufacturer's price of drugs - from imports until the final sale - may exceed the maximum of 66%. 

Report informs, according to the Tariff (price) Council of Azerbaijan  Ilkin Majidov said: "After the regulation of prices by government the price for drugs will significantly decrease", he said.

According to I.Majidov, in the settlement price it is necessary to define a minimum of 10 producer countries:"In the process of settlement of prices it is necessary to compare the prices of at least 10 producer countries, and to determine manufacturers with the lowest prices.At the same time the price of drugs with the same composition but different names will also be the same."

I.Majidov noted that the rules established in connection with the growth of drug prices:"For individuals or companies engaged in the importation of drugs into the country, can increase the maximum of 20%."
