Iranian Ambassador: Azerbaijan leading country in region to attract foreign investments

Baku. 10 November. REPORT.AZ/ The conference "Investment opportunities in Azerbaijan and Iran" has today started in Baku.

Report informs, making a speech at the conference, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Iran to Azerbaijan Javad Jahangirzadeh said that the conference will have a major impact on the two countries' mutual investment.

"Azerbaijan is a leading country in the region to attract foreign investments. We are interested in studying Azerbaijan's practice. Iran and Azerbaijan have four large joint investment projects. One of them is construction of pharmaceutical factory. Both Presidents have already given relevant instructions. We are pleased to cooperate with Azerbaijan. There are no political problems between Iran and Azerbaijan. There is no such a country in the region, which presidents met seven times in the last three years," the ambassador said.

According to him, next month governor of Urmia province will visit Azerbaijan, Azerbaijani Economy Minister Shahin Mustafayev Iran by the end of the year.
