Baku to host Turkic States Economic Forum 2024 in May

The Turkic States Economic Forum 2024 will be held in Baku on May 2–3, Nigar Alasgarova, the chairperson of the Association of Small and Medium Business Entities and Clubs (ASME), said at the press conference held in connection with the forum, Report informs.

She said that the forum will be jointly organized by the ASME and the Azerbaijan Franchise Association in partnership with the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) under the Ministry of Economy, the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), and the Software Industrialists Association (YASAD): “The event, which will be held for the first time between Turkic-speaking countries, aims to study the existing market and investment opportunities between these countries, organize the integration of brands into the international environment, develop inter-company commercial relations, support the attraction of foreign investors and companies to the country, and strengthen relations between Turkic-speaking countries.”

She noted that investors from countries such as the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Japan, Qatar, Russia, and Egypt are also planned to participate in the event: “More than 1,000 visitors are expected to attend the event.”
