Azerbaijan has been represented at the 6th Istanbul Economic Summit on Global Value Chains held in Istanbul, Turkiye, Report informs, citing the Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO).
At the opening ceremony of the event, the head of AZPROMO, Yusif Abdullayev, informed about the favorable business and investment environment created in Azerbaijan and stressed the importance of holding the event in terms of discussing access to sustainable energy, tourism, food safety, women's entrepreneurship, 'green energy' and other areas.
Olgun Amcaoglu, Minister of Economy and Energy of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Nail Olpak, President of the Foreign Economic Relations Council of Turkiye (DEİK), Sibel Kulaksiz, Chief Economist of the World Bank, Kivilcim Pinar Kocabiyik, Chairman of the Board of the Yuvam Dunya Association, and Emine Erdem, President of the Turkish Women Entrepreneurs Association also spoke at the opening of the summit.
