Azerbaijan participates in II Economic Forum of SCO

The II Economic Forum of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) was held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, under the chairmanship of this country, the Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO) told Report.

Azerbaijan, which has the status of a dialogue partner of the SCO, was represented at the event by the head of AZPROMO Yusif Abdullayev.

Leaders and experts of state institutions, banks, companies, industry associations, chambers of commerce, and industry participated in the event in a hybrid format.

Abdullayev spoke at the "Features of international cooperation and restoration of economic and trade relations" panel, informed about Azerbaijan's economic development, export, and investment opportunities, as well as directions for the development of economic partnership between Azerbaijan and the SCO countries, relations between business circles, and pointed out the development of Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan relations and that the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on cooperation between the two countries made an important contribution to the development of the partnership.

The head of AZPROMO got acquainted with the Industrial Innovations Fair organized within the framework of the forum and held a number of meetings.
