Azerbaijan and UK discuss information exchange in taxation

Azerbaijan and the UK discussed information exchange in taxation, Report informs, citing the State Tax Service (STS) under the Economy Ministry of Azerbaijan.

According to the state service, STS Deputy Chief Samira Musayeva held a video conference with Angela MacDonald, Deputy Chief Executive of HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) of Great Britain.

The meeting emphasized the importance of implemented measures for cooperation between the two institutions and proposed initiatives, discussed strategic goals in improving tax administration and reforms for sustainable economic development, and other issues related to improving the tax environment.
