Presidential Aide: All shortcomings of foreign trade activities will be eliminated in 2016

Baku. 11 March. REPORT.AZ/ "We want to generate a progressive customs system in 2016, which would provide support to entrepreneurs in the system of interrelation "state-entrepreneurs".

Report informs, Assistant to the President on Economic Reforms, Natig Amirov said that at the event "Support for economic reforms in Azerbaijan by American Chamber of Commerce"ş

N. Amirov said that with the exception of technical problems, this year all the defects of foreign trade activity will be eliminated. According to him, significant reforms in foreign trade will be taken in Azerbaijan until the end of the year.

"The reforms initiated by the customs authorities reflected transparency elements.

Electronic customs declarations will be launched no later than April. The introduction of "green corridor" system is expected. Procedures for mass testing machines and products will be canceled and instead internationally accepted sampling methods will be introduced. System of customs clearance at the business facilities will be improved and measures will be taken for the implementation of the customs clearance process in regions. In accordance with a presidential decree, until May 1, action plans for each issue will be prepared, "- said the presidential aide.
