Ambassador: "Meeting of Azerbaijan-Iran Intergovernmental Commission to be held by the end of year"

Baku. 9 May. REPORT.AZ/ "The meeting of the State Commission for Cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Islamic Republic of Iran in economic, trade and humanitarian spheres is scheduled for the end of the year".

Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Javad Jahangirzadeh said in an interview to Report.

According to him, the last meeting of the Commission was held in Iran. "Negotiations are currently underway in this direction".

The ambassador also touched upon energy cooperation between Azerbaijan and Iran: "The two countries signed a cooperation agreement in this area. Energy Minister of Azerbaijan, Parviz Shahbazov has visited Iran this week and has held productive negogations" .
