Vice speaker of Milli Majlis: "We are concerned about the law offenses we witness every day"

Baku. 7 December. REPORT.AZ/ "We are certainly concerned about the law offences that we witness every day, Deputy Speaker of Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis, Chairperson of the Human Rights Committee Bahar Muradova said.

According to Report, she said a network responsible for protection of human rights must function in a coordinated way in the world in order to prevent cases of domestic violence, law offenses targeting women and children, difficulties facing migrants, discrimination based on national belonging: "It requires large-scale awareness works. The countrywide activity of Ombudsman's office in Azerbaijan, coordination of the activity of the state bodies and parliament over the past years can serve as an example for other nations."

She believes that today Azerbaijan has a flawless legislative base: "Our responsibility is even high because we live in an environment which sees no discrimination."
