The Baku Initiative Group (BIG) and French Polynesia's Tāvini Huiraʻatira political party signed a memorandum within the framework of the conference entitled 'The Path to Decolonization: Consequences of Assimilation and its Implications for the Realization of Human Rights' at the Vienna office of the UN, Report informs, with reference to AZERTAC.
The signing of the memorandum is of great importance in terms of determining the development prospects of future relations and the further development of cooperation.
Also, the memorandum will prevent threats to the national identity by reducing the effects of assimilation and will pave the way for achieving important results in the direction of decolonization. At the same time, it will be an important start for the young generations in the preservation of local culture and the implementation of future projects aimed at education.
