WB to allocate financial assistance to Georgia

World Bank will allocate $80 million as financial assistance to Georgia, Report informs, citing the bank.

The funds will be spent on the reduction of negative impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on health and social fields.

The aid package is expected to be helpful for a significant part of the population, particularly the elders, who were infected with coronavirus and are in the high-risk group, those suffering from chronic diseases, as well as for medical staff.
