Central Bank of Kazakhstan keeps interest rate stable

Baku. 27 November. REPORT.AZ/ The Central Bank of Kazakhstan left the interest rate unchanged in the level of 10.25% at today’s meeting. 

Report informs referring to the Finmarket.ru website quoting the bank.

It’s said that interest rate remained stable and interest gap was in the level of +/-1% Analysts predicted that Central Bank of Kazakhstan will decrease the basis by 0.25%.

The bank said the annual inflation in September was 7.1% and in October it increased to 7.7%: “But this is within the 6-8% range that the bank has targeted.”

Currently, US-dollar rate in Kazakhstan equals 331 KZT. This is 15.56% less than then highest record in history. The highest level was recorded on January 21, 2016 (392 KZT/USD).
