Russian government plans to attract $40B of foreign investment

Baku. 15 October. REPORT.AZ/ Foreign investors will invest $40 billion in Russian economy during the next 5-7 years, Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) CEO Kirill Dmitriev said October 15, Report informs citing Russian media.

According to him, there will be 20 investors from China, South Korea, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. The investments will mainly be made in motor roads and railways, air and seaports. Nearly 25% of the funds will be directed to improvement of technology.
