As many as 20 Azerbaijani companies presented their products for the first time at the "Made in Azerbaijan" single-country stand at the international food exhibition The Saudi Food Show 2024 held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, Report informs citing the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO).
According to the information, natural honey, confectionery, tea, black caviar, various carbonated drinks, ice creams, fruits and vegetables and other products produced in the country were displayed at the stand, and videos about Azerbaijani products were showcased. Potential importers who visited the stand showed interest in Azerbaijani products, especially black caviar, fruits and vegetables, confectionery and non-alcoholic beverages. Within the framework of the exhibition, meetings were held between local and foreign entrepreneurs, ideas were exchanged regarding potential export operations.
More than 1,000 companies from 97 countries participated in this year's The Saudi Food Show. Countries such as Tükiye, the US, Poland, Switzerland, France, Korea, Spain, Pakistan, Brazil, Malaysia, Qatar, Iraq and Cambodia also presented a single-country stand at the exhibition.
