Peter Michalko: Azerbaijan may increase export of agricultural products to Europe

Azerbaijan can export more agricultural products to the EU countries, Ambassador of the EU to Azerbaijan Peter Michalko said at the Baku conference on the project "Promotion of agro-tourism, agri-business entrepreneurship and food production and creation and development of new value chains through consulting services," Report informs.

He noted that the EU delegation in Azerbaijan is trying to strengthen the country's agriculture by cooperating with state bodies, civil society representatives, and the private sector: "This is very important in terms of the diversification of Azerbaijan's economy."

"This project helps small farmers to diversify their sources of income. The project also helps to increase the value chain for agritourism and food products. Thanks to our cooperation, we contribute to agrotourism by working and cooperating with civil society institutions,"
