Matthew Griffiths: OECD is helping Azerbaijan fight against drought and water scarcity in agricultural sector

The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) is doing a number of things related to water in Azerbaijan, including fighting against drought and water scarcity in the agricultural sector, senior program manager at OECD, Matthew Griffiths, said at the 2nd Baku Forum on “Sustainable Finance and Investment” held in Baku, Report informs.

He believes that bringing different practices together is essential for ensuring biodiversity.

According to him, the main obstacle facing biodiversity is the lack of funding: “Currently, the main challenges in this area are related to funding.”
