German Foreign Minister announced priorities of chairmanship in OSCE

Baku. 3 December. REPORT.AZ/ German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier mentioned priorities during chairmanship in the OSCE in 2016.Report informs, speaking at the passing in Belgrade OSCE Ministerial Council Meeting, he reminded his speech six months ago, in which he compared the situation with the stormy sea, and the OSCE with the ship. According to him, since then, sea is no more calmer.As disturbing topics he noted the growth of the flow of migrants, terrorist attacks.

The minister stressed the need to work in three main areas: responding to crises, strengthening the Secretariat, field missions and institutions, enhancing security.

"The situation become too dangerous, peace and stability too fragile, so we can polish formulations for months", - said the minister.

According to him, the main directions of the German presidency of the OSCE will show the fragility of European security and stability, to bring this information to all citizens and to show that the OSCE is in demand as never before.
