Mukhtar Babayev discusses preparations for COP29 with UAE’s Minister of Community Development

Young Climate Champion of the COP28, Minister of Community Development of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sharma Al Mazrui, engaged in discussions with Mukhtar Babayev, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources as a part of his visit to Azerbaijan.

Reports informs with the reference to the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan Republic that the focus of their meeting was the upcoming 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, set to be hosted by Azerbaijan.

They explored potential avenues for collaboration and shared insights on the preparatory process.

Leyla Hasanova, Azerbaijan’s designated Youth Climate Champion for COP29, also contributed to the dialogue.
