Visits from Kyrgyzstan to Azerbaijan up by 51%

In January-May of this year, 1,733 people visited Azerbaijan from Kyrgyzstan, which means a 51% increase compared to the same period last year, Report informs, citing the State Tourism Agency.

The prospects for the development of tourism relations between the two countries were discussed today at the meeting between the Chairman of the Agency, Fuad Naghiyev, and the Kyrgyz Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Kayrat Osmonaliyev.

The meeting emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation relations within the framework of international organizations, conducting joint promotional events and exchanging experience. They also exchanged views on the importance of direct flights for organizing mutual promotional visits and increasing tourist exchange.
