Turkish professor: 'We can cooperate with Azerbaijan in ecotourism'

Azerbaijan and Türkiye can cooperate in ecotourism and implement joint projects to achieve carbon neutrality, Mehmet Sonuncu, a professor at Ankara University, who is participating in the global COP29 conference in Baku, told Report.
He noted that Türkiye is among the top ten tourist countries in the world and earns over $30 billion annually from this: "Currently, many new tourism directions are developing in the country, especially ecotourism. In recent years, new directions have emerged in this field."
