Tourism Bureau: Number of tourists visiting Azerbaijan to reach 4 million in 2023

Proportion of tourism in the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in Azerbaijan makes up 3%, Florian Sengstschmid, the CEO of the Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB), said at Azerbaijan Tourism Summit – 2019, Report informs.

According to him, this figure might increase with the growth of tourism potential in the country.

He added that works are underway to increase the number of tourists to 4 million people in 2023.
