Tajikistan's Somon Air to launch flights from Dushanbe to Baku

Tajikistan's Somon Air plans to launch flights from Dushanbe to Baku this year, Gulrukhsor Nurova, director of Tajikistan's Dourgard Adventures tour operator, told Report.

"Currently, flights between Dushanbe and Baku are being carried out in test mode. Flights are planned to be regular," she added.

Nurova believes that the opening of additional flights between the two countries will contribute to the development of friendly relations between the peoples: "Furthermore, the existing visa-free regime between the two countries will strengthen cooperation in tourism."

Somon Air is the national air carrier of Tajikistan. The basic airport is Dushanbe International Airport.
