Spain to reopen doors to tourists

Spain is opening borders for tourists who have received both doses of vaccine against COVID-19, Report informs, citing Spain's RTVE.

Tourists vaccinated with Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Janssen, Sinopharm, and Sinovac-Coronavac vaccine will be allowed into the country.

According to the document, prepared by the ministries of health and internal affairs and published in the Official state bulletin on Saturday, tourists wishing to visit Spain should provide the confirmation of receiving both doses of an anti-coronavirus jab at least 14 days before entering the country.

Prior to that, the travelers will have to fill in the question form on the internet via a special application that would generate a QR-code. The tourist must submit it both before leaving for Spain and during the passport check. Moreover, as part of the gradual opening for tourists, from June 7, a year after closure, Spain permitted the mooring of cruise liners in the country's ports. Tourists from Brazil, India, and SAR are not allowed into the country due to the complex epidemiological situation there.
