Baku. 25 October. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijan is the most amazing holiday destination for Russians. The number of Russian tourists visiting Azerbaijan is increasing, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Olga Golodets said.

Report informs that, according to her, 900,000 Azerbaijani tourists visited Russia last year, while 750,000 Russian tourists visited Azerbaijan - and these figures continue to grow.

Golodets noted that at present Russia is extremely interested in the development of river and sea tourism in the Caspian sea.

"Currently, two large river-sea vessels designed for the development of tourism in the Caspian Sea are being built at two shipyards in Russian Federation. We observe huge potential, of course, it will be of demand, we are confident about it," the Russian Deputy Prime Minister said.
