Azerbaijan posts 6% increase in tourist flow

Baku. 24 December. REPORT.AZ/ The number of foreigners who traveled to Azerbaijan in January-November 2018 increased by 6% to 151,000.
Report informs citing the State Tourism Agency that the number of travelers who crossed our borders has reached 2.5 million.
The travelers from Russia, Georgia and Middle East constituted 65% of the total number of foreigners.
Traditionally, Pakistan, India and Turkmenistan remained the main markets of Asia, and UAE, Saudi Arabia and Iraq the main markets of the Middle East.
Compared to a year earlier, the number of travelers from Iran declined by 33% in the reporting period.
