Azerbaijan improves its position in Passport Index

Azerbaijan ranked 76th in the Passport Index for the fourth quarter of 2019, Report informs citing the materials of Henley & Partners, which compiled this rating.

It is noted that Azerbaijan has improved its position compared to the previous report, rising by two lines.

By the information, citizens of Azerbaijan can visit 66 countries without a visa.

Japan and Singapore share the first place in the Index and their citizens can visit 190 countries. South Korea, Germany and Finland rank second with 188 destinations. Citizens of Denmark, Italy, Luxembourg can enjoy visa-free visits to 187 visa-free countries and rank third for this indicator.

The United Arab Emirates saw the most successful three months, rising to a record five lines, receiving visa-free access to a number of African countries. Now the UAE occupies the 15th place with172 destinations.
