Azerbaijan changing procedure for attracting tourism entities to property tax

The property tax for hotels and sanatoriums in Azerbaijan’s regions will be reduced by 75% from January next year, Report informs referring to the State Tax Service under the Economy Ministry.

The tax incentive will be valid for three years and will not affect tourism entities in Baku, Sumgait, Khirdalan and Absheron region.

The incentive is aimed at reducing the tax burden on businesses and stimulating entrepreneurial activity in the regions.
