Young Azerbaijani wrestlers claim 11 medals in Turkey

The Victory Cup tournament among wrestlers in Turkey's Antalya has wrapped up, with 6 wrestlers rising to the pedestal on the last day.

According to Report, among freestyle wrestlers Farhad Karimli (60 kg) became the champion and Mammad Ahmadov (60 kg) and Kanan Heybatov (51 kg) took the third place. Among girls, Elnura Mammadova (53 kg) and Marziya Sadigova (61 kg) claimed silver. Greco-Roman wrestler Elmir Aliyev (51 kg) took the second place.

As a result, the Azerbaijan team gained 11 medals, including 2 gold, 5 silver and 4 bronze awards.

International referee Zaur Sharifov also managed the Victory Cup tournament.
