Azerbaijani athletes seen off to Summer Olympics

A solemn ceremony took place to see off Azerbaijani athletes to the Summer Olympic Games in Paris, Report informs.

The event, organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports at the National Gymnastics Arena, was attended by fans, relatives of athletes, officials of various federations, employees of the ministry and other persons.

Azerbaijani Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov, who was present at the ceremony, wished the athletes success.

At the XXXIII Summer Olympic Games, which will be held from July 26 to August 11 in Paris, 48 athletes will represent Azerbaijan in 17 programs in 15 sports.
