For 2026, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan has approved the following list of non-working days:

According to the Labor Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, if a holiday falls on a weekend or if public holidays overlap, additional days off are provided. For a five-day workweek, the following additional days off are set for 2026:

March: March 9, 25, 26, 27, and 30. Due to overlapping weekends and the convergence of the Novruz and Ramazan holidays, the country will have a long spring break (non-working days will span from March 20 to 30 inclusive).

May: May 11 and 29 (since May 9 falls on a Saturday, and May 28 overlaps with the Gurban Holiday). At the end of spring, the days off will be from May 27 to 31 inclusive.

November: November 10 (since November 8 falls on a Sunday). The long weekend will last from November 7 to 10.

Note: If you work on a six-day workweek schedule, your only additional days off will be March 25, 26, May 29, and November 10.
