Next yard renovated on Leyla Aliyeva's initiative put into service

The opening ceremony of the next yard was held within the framework of “Our yard” project, which aims at renovating old yards on the initiative of Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of IDEA Public Union Leyla Aliyeva, Report informs citing the Baku City Executive Power.

The renovated yard covers buildings occupied by 2,000 residents located at 8, Israfil Hashimov Street, Binagadi district.

The main objective of “Our yard” project is to renovate and  maintain the ecologically safe condition of Baku yards, restore greenery that forms the pillar of the city urban ecology, form a healthy lifestyle, and create safe and comfortable living conditions for the residents.

Taking into account the needs and interests of the residents, the new lighting poles are installed, the facades and entrance parts of buildings are fully repaired and put into use. In addition to the restoration of existing greenery on the territory of the courtyard, additional 50 trees were planted and green line in an area of 1735 was planted.

The yard, put into service of the residents of the Binagadi district, is the 25th courtyard renovated as part of the the project.
