Azerbaijan to provide housing to martyr families, war invalids

Under the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev, work is underway to provide 1,500 apartments and individual houses to the families of martyrs and war invalids this year, which is 60% more compared to the last year.

The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population has already purchased 480 apartments in new residential buildings and plans to buy 220 more.

Moreover, 800 individual houses will be commissioned in the regions by late-year; the ministry told Report.

In 2018, the ministry handed over 626 apartments, three times more than planned, and in 2019, 934 apartments and individual houses to families of martyrs and war invalids.
