Vusal Huseynov: The number of foreigners who visited the country grew by 6% in 2018

Baku. 11 January. REPORT.AZ/ "2,845,697 foreigners and stateless people were recorded in 2018. It shows a 6% growth recorded in 2018," head of the State Migration Service Vusal Huseynov said.

Report informs that he spoke at the press conference by results of the activity of the State Migration Service in 2018.

Vusal Huseynov said said that 740,841 foreigners and stateless people were recorded in their place of residence: "Throughout the year, the State Migration Service received 82,953 appeals on extension of the term of temporary stay in the country, receipt of permission for temporary or permanent residence, receipt and restoration, renunciation of citizenship, as well as the determination of citizenship and status of a refugee, receipt of permission for work and extension of the term of available permission for work."
