Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan are working on an agreement on cooperation in the social sector, Deputy Chairman of the Kyrgyz Social Fund Gulnura Dzhumatayeva told journalists, as quoted by Report.
"We have been cooperating for a long time. At the moment, we are working on a bilateral agreement on cooperation in the social sphere with Azerbaijan, including on the issue of payment of benefits and pensions. This agreement will contribute to the fact that it does not matter whether an Azerbaijani citizen works in Kyrgyzstan or vice versa, their rights will not be violated, but will be protected by a social guarantee," Dzhumatayeva said.
The deputy chairman of the Social Fund of Kyrgyzstan also expressed her gratitude to Azerbaijan for cooperation, noting that our country has advanced experience in the provision of social services.
"Kyrgyzstan intends to study everything that Azerbaijan has achieved in this area over the years of independence," she added.
