Gunduz Ismayilov: "Armenians wiped out our religious monuments"

"During the occupation, hundreds of our religious shrines were destroyed and wiped off the face of the earth. Only the Juma Mosque in Agdam and the Yuxari (Upper) Govhar Agha Mosque in Shusha remained in a semi-destroyed state. That is, our Islamic monuments have been wiped off the face of the earth," Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations Gunduz Ismayilov told "The Great Return: Revival of Culture" conference.

The attitude of the occupiers to the Albanian churches was also different: "They tried to appropriate those churches, and destroyed what they could not do so."
