Baku. February 26. REPORT.AZ/ Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office Sheikh ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade will pay a visit to Cherkessk, the capital of Karachay-Cherkessia Republic of the Russian Federation, Report informs citing the press service of CMO.
Sheikh ul-Islam Pashazade will hold the next meeting of the Supreme Religious Council of Caucasian Peoples in Cherkessk, which he chairs. This meeting of the council is held on the occasion of the 65th birthday of the Chairman of the Coordinating Center of Muslims of the North Caucasus and Mufti of Karachay-Cherkessia Ismail Berdiyev.
At the meeting, the sides are expected to discuss the current issues and steps taken to strengthen the friendship and brotherhood among the Caucasian nations.
Chairman of the Council Sheikh ul-Islam Pashazade will deliver a report on the period following the meeting of the Supreme Religious Council of Caucasian Peoples in Vladikavkaz.
Within the framework of the visit, the CMO chief is expected to meet with the leadership of the republic, religious leaders and representatives of the Azerbaijani diaspora in Karachay-Cherkessia.
